MSR dataloggers - put to the acid test
Dear [Anrede,fallback=] [fullname,fallback=],

What are your requirements in the measurement technology field? Faster, more secure, more accurate? At MSR Electronics GmbH we make it our
business to supply dataloggers that fulfil your requirements exactly.
This isn't a trivial issue: Just for the MSR145 mini logger and
the MSR165 3-axis shock logger we invested over 20 000 hours in research
and development work before the units were ready for marketing. We only release a datalogger for marketing when it has successfully completed
the full schedule of endurance testing relating to materials quality and workmanship, precision and accuracy of the measurement results and user
friendly operation. We carry out development, testing and production of all units in-house at our facility in Henggart and we test each individual
device before it is shipped. In addition to ensuring precision, this also enables us to guarantee the long service life and robustness of our products.
With which measurement tasks may we help you?
New: EasyView Software for MSR
Makes advanced data analysis easy
The in-depth analysis of measurement data has become much easier: MSR Electronics GmbH is now a co-operation partner of intab, the Swedish market leader in data analysis software.
The user-friendly program, EasyView Pro,
makes it easier for users to carry out advanced analyses,
graphical presentations and to manage measurement data.
EasyView Pro accepts data from a wide range of sources, including MSR datafiles which can be effortlessly imported and then evaluated in detail.
The data analysis software developed by MSR Electronics GmbH (MSR PC Software) is of course still available. However, users that require
a tool for more comprehensive data analysis tasks will find EasyView Pro from intab an excellent choice.
EasyView Pro 5.7 is available from
MSR Electronics GmbH from October 2009 and costs €451.00
net.

MSR145 now with a battery of at least 260mAh
Better performance for the money
From now on, customers who order the MSR145
have a choice between a lithium polymer battery of 260mAh
(standard) or of 900mAh (optional).
The 260mAh battery replaces the current 170mAh battery but the price has not been increased
despite the improved specification. The battery is charged via the unit's USB connection and, depending upon the
battery fitted and the measurement rate, a single charge is sufficient for continuous data recording of up to two years.
The mini logger MSR145 measures and stores up to 5 measurement parameters simultaneously. The available parameters are temperature,
humidity, light and/or 3-axis acceleration. In addition, up to four third-party sensors may be connected to the unit.

MSR165 datalogger: Now up to 1600/s!
60% faster measurement and storage rate
The MSR165 now also offers greater
performance for the same money: The MSR165 is now capable of making
up to 1600 measurements per second for acceleration
in all 3 axes (until today, the rate was
1000/s). Shock monitoring is possible up to ±15g, 32 measurement
values are recorded even before the event takes place. In addition
the MSR165 offers a choice of recording temperature, humidity,
pressure, light and four analogue input voltages. The prices of the
MSR165 datalogger have not been increased despite the improvement in
performance.
The memory capacity of the MSR165 is
already more than 2 million measurement parameters. This can be
significantly increased by using an optional microSD card (>4
GB),recording 1,500 million measurement parameters.
Innumerable applications
The MSR165 is used in a wide range of
industries for maintenance, production and monitoring tasks. For
example in production measurement technology for monitoring
vibrations in engines and transmissions, or for reducing wear in
industrial plants, for increasing the performance of machines, in
the design of bearings and shock absorbers, for noise reduction of
engines and in the determination of imbalances. In the
transport sector the MSR165 is used for
monitoring goods of a critical nature. Other application examples: The measurement of
vibrations in vehicles, load/endurance testing, vibrations in
buildings, vibration measurements in refrigeration equipment,
vibration measurements in wind generators and much more.

Story of the month:
movita GmbH
MSR dataloggers promote your health and well-being!
The influence that physical activity has on our own personal health is enormous. The trend however, is towards taking
less and less exercise every day and this means that health problems are bound to arise in future. The consequences
of this can have are illustrated by the exponential increase in the number of people afflicted with diabetes and in exploding healthcare costs.
Thanks to MSR technology we are again
becoming more aware of our exercise needs. Exercise data, recorded
using modified MSR145 dataloggers,
is being translated into
qualitative health-related statistics by the company movita GmbH based in Wetzikon, Switzerland.
Through the firm's Internet-based programs the results show
participants, in an easy to understand way, how they can best
organise their day to achieve maximum benefits for their health. The
same principle applies to both SME's and large corporations: If, in
line with a company healthcare management scheme, workers are made
aware of the benefits exercise has on health and - where necessary -
are provided with targeted assistance and support, then everyone
stands to profit. Workers feel better, are happier and
better motivated, days of absence from work are fewer, which in turn
reduces costs.
When are you going to implement a healthcare management scheme at your business?
The way forward to a preventive healthcare approach, whether for you or for your employees,
begins with the next click!
